Stanley Nwabali

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has issued a stern warning to controversial social media figure Kehinde Adams, popularly known as Lege Miami, after the latter made disrespectful comments about his late father.

The backlash began when Lege Miami publicly criticized several Super Eagles players following Nigeria’s unsuccessful bid to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

While he commended Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Fredrick, and Calvin Bassey for their efforts, he directed harsh remarks toward other squad members.

Despite Nwabali’s impressive performance—including two penalty saves in Nigeria’s playoff defeat to DR Congo—Lege Miami targeted the goalkeeper with offensive remarks that referenced his late father.

This provoked a fiery response from Nwabali, who took to Instagram to address the situation.

In a strongly worded post on his Instagram story, Nwabali wrote, “Lege Miami, keep my late father’s name out of your mouth when creating content. If you can’t respect people’s parents, at least respect the dead.

“I’m not like other players you can mess with—I will deal with you severely. You can insult me all you want, but leave my late dad out of it.”
