Renowned dancer Jane Mena recently shared a harrowing yet miraculous incident involving her two young sons, aged one and ten months, who narrowly escaped harm during a frightening ordeal at home on Christmas Eve, 2025.
According to Mena, her adventurous toddler unlocked a bedroom door and climbed up a flight of stairs, but thankfully, he was intercepted just before he could slip and fall.
Despite recovering from a fractured leg, Mena sprang into action, abandoning bath preparations to rush to her son’s aid.
In an emotional Instagram post, she expressed deep gratitude for divine intervention.
“Only God knows how my son stayed safe until I heard his cries. Bobo had never attempted anything like this before—it completely stunned me. I always keep my children close unless they’re with someone I trust,” she revealed.
“These little troublemakers were happily playing with their building cubes when I stepped away to prepare their bath. Never imagined our tiny escape artist could open doors so effortlessly!
“One second they’re giggling in their room, the next they’re gone. Jesus, I praise your name endlessly! Since that day, Bobo keeps asking for my help whenever he approaches the stairs.
“Looking back, I can smile, but in that moment, fear took over. I sprinted despite my healing leg—nothing mattered more than his safety. Overflowing with gratitude! When my husband returned, I begged him to retrieve this footage—it’s my testimony. Glory to God!”
