Nigerian music sensation Skales, born Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, has opened up about why many artists fail to seize their golden opportunities.
Taking to his X account on Monday, the singer-songwriter emphasized that lack of determination holds many talents back.
Skales further revealed that impatience is another major hurdle, with countless artists giving up right when success is within reach.
He passionately urged fellow creatives to stay the course and trust the process.
“Your sound has the power to transcend borders and connect with audiences worldwide. But consistency is key – don’t stop before the magic happens.
“Too many artists walk away right when their breakthrough is coming. Stay relentless,” he shared.
This comes after Skales experienced a career resurgence when his 2014 hit “Shake Body” went viral again, thanks to Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal’s viral dance challenge.
