Nigerian music star Skales has seemingly closed the chapter on his marriage and embraced a fresh romance.
The artist stunned fans on Instagram today, August 23, by introducing his new love interest—model Shauney Monae.
Skales showered her with adoration, labeling her his “eternal melody and brightest star.” He praised her unique way of loving him.
A birthday tribute photo featuring the couple surfaced online, with Skales pouring his heart out in the caption.
His emotional message included: “Your love transforms me, your kindness lifts me, your wisdom shapes my world.
“This is for you—my everything, my inspiration, my soul’s counterpart.”
This revelation follows years of turbulence with his ex-wife Precious Raoul, whom Skales once branded a “demon” after she publicly grieved his late mother.
The pair exchanged vows in September 2021. During their first anniversary in 2022, Skales had waxed lyrical about marital bliss, calling Precious his greatest blessing.
His now-deleted post read: “From this day forward, happiness became my constant companion… This union gifted me wings. Happy anniversary to my eternal flame.”
He continued: “Marking one year of marital joy, I’m sharing footage from the most magical day of my existence.”
Their fairy tale crumbled weeks later when Skales launched a shocking tirade against his pregnant wife in November 2022, releasing a scathing track accusing her of neglecting his dying mother.
The diss track painted Precious as heartless, claiming she could have prolonged his mother’s life. He lamented being blindsided by his wife’s true nature.
Surprisingly, by March 2023—coinciding with their daughter’s birth—Skales publicly begged Precious’ forgiveness, celebrating her birthday with gushing praise.
His apology post stated: “Cheers to my goddess @her_sanity11! My love and respect for you deepen daily. I vow to grow.”
