Best known for her soul-stirring album ‘Eji Owuro’, the 54-year-old vocalist shocked fans by explaining that she maintains separate residences from her husband.
Reflecting on her journey through matrimony, Allyson challenged common romantic notions, stating:
“Marriage certificates don’t guarantee shared roofs. We remain legally wed yet choose independent living spaces.”
When pressed about whether her hit love song mirrored reality, she responded bluntly: “Our elders sold us fairy tales. They claimed mutual love ensures lifelong bliss – that’s simply untrue in my case.”
“I’ve searched desperately for that legendary marital joy others describe. After decades of effort, I can honestly say I’ve never found it,” the singer confessed with visible emotion.
