During an emotional conversation with Hero Daniels, the award-winning artist shared how the heartbreaking sequence began with his father’s untimely death, occurring mere days before a pivotal moment in his music career.
The tragedy continued as his brother passed away shortly after, followed by his mother’s unexpected death moments before he was set to perform on stage.
Iyanya recounted the traumatic moment when his uncle delivered the shocking news about his mother right before his performance began.
With raw emotion, the musician recalled: “My darkest moments came when I lost my entire family. Within two years, I buried three loved ones. My father passed barely a week before my major break in the industry.”
