Darey Art Alade

Afro-soul sensation Darey Art Alade and his wife, Deola, are counting their blessings after a terrifying ordeal—their car suddenly bursting into flames on Lagos’ bustling Third Mainland Bridge.

In a gripping Instagram post on Saturday, Deola shared chilling footage of the fiery incident that unfolded around 4pm Friday, reducing their vehicle to scorched metal.

“Yesterday afternoon, our world turned upside down when flames engulfed our car on Third Mainland Bridge within minutes.

“The shock still lingers, but our hearts overflow with gratitude—our driver escaped unharmed. When fate strikes, you realize nothing matters more than lives saved,” she revealed.

With profound wisdom, Deola reflected: “Such moments shatter illusions of permanence—metal crumbles, but the human spirit endures. Suddenly, what fills garages becomes infinitely less precious than what fills lungs.”

The couple’s decision to share their trauma carries a deeper purpose—lighting hope for others facing devastation.

Deola’s poignant words resonated: “This isn’t about pity; it’s proof that while possessions turn to ash, purpose remains. Today we kneel in thanksgiving—for divine shields, clearer vision, and resilience we didn’t know we possessed.

“To anyone staring at wreckage today: remember phoenixes rise. Together, we’ll gather the scattered pieces—one prayer, one breath, one courageous step forward. Special thanks to the guardian angels who stopped to help.”

The music community has flooded their posts with an outpouring of support and prayers.
