Renowned Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has publicly applauded his colleague Aderombi Martin, widely known as Deeone, for his extraordinary 52-hour stand-up comedy marathon in Lagos, calling it a groundbreaking achievement in the entertainment industry.

Taking to X on Sunday, Seyi Law lauded Deeone’s perseverance, emphasizing that the record-setting performance was the culmination of meticulous preparation and unyielding dedication.

“What many dismissed as an impossible dream was, in reality, a carefully crafted vision backed by years of hard work. Since 2021, this journey has been grueling, but today, it stands as a historic milestone.

“A 52-hour non-stop comedy act is nothing short of legendary—an accomplishment that will inspire generations,” Seyi Law remarked.

Though Guinness World Records has yet to officially validate the feat, Seyi Law celebrated Deeone’s tenacity and mental fortitude during the demanding challenge.

He continued, “While the world awaits formal recognition, I salute your grit, focus, and the unshakable spirit that carried you through this marathon.

“You’ve shattered limits and set a new standard. May this victory pave the way for even more extraordinary triumphs.”

In a post-performance clip shared on Saturday, Deeone disclosed that while his goal was 60 hours, he ultimately delivered an impressive 52-hour and 12-minute set.

Earlier reports revealed that the comedian had set his sights on breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy show.

Through an Instagram video, he announced the event would take place from October 2–4, 2025, at Pallazo Lagos in Opebi, Ikeja.

The announcement, accompanied by a satirical poster resembling a funeral program, quickly went viral, sparking widespread excitement among fans.
