
Iconic American rapper Trevor Smith Jr., better known as Busta Rhymes, recently revealed his intentions to move to Nigeria and start a family with a Nigerian woman.
The hip-hop veteran, 53, shared his aspirations during a lively performance at Lagos’ Detty December Fest, captivating the audience with his unexpected announcement.
He expressed his desire to retire in Nigeria, emphasizing his plans to purchase property and establish roots in the country.
“This visit means everything to me—it’s been 15 years in the making,” Busta Rhymes told the crowd. “I’m scouting for a home here, searching for land, and even considering marriage so I can build my future in Nigeria.”
Though unmarried, the legendary artist is a father of six, with children from four different relationships.
