Sammy, the older brother of popular Nollywood star Regina Daniels, faced another legal setback as his bail application was rejected in court on Thursday.

The judge ordered his continued detention until November 28, as the case involving billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko unfolds.

Regina’s sibling, Sweezy, took to social media to expose Sammy’s deteriorating condition while in police custody.

In an emotional video, he revealed that bail was denied during the hearing, sparking outrage among supporters.

Sweezy criticized the justice system and called on the public to intervene, claiming his brother is a victim of unjust circumstances.

This development follows previous allegations against Ned Nwoko, who dismissed claims of involvement in Sammy’s legal troubles.

The family’s distress deepened when Rita Daniels, mother of Regina and Sammy, shared a harrowing photo of her son behind bars.

The image depicted Sammy in a grim setting, visibly distressed and bearing signs of alleged mistreatment.
