The music label representing Nigerian star Ruger has broken its silence on the singer’s unexpected absence from the industry, attributing it to an ongoing legal dispute.
According to an official release, the “Bounce” hitmaker faced unexpected turmoil after a former romantic partner filed a lawsuit claiming “emotional harm” and seeking financial compensation.
“Legal complications arose for Ruger following a lawsuit initiated by an ex-partner, citing emotional distress and demanding reparations,” the statement revealed.
With the legal hurdles now resolved, the label confirmed Ruger’s highly anticipated musical comeback scheduled for next month.
