

Nigeria’s gospel music scene mourns the passing of beloved artist Taiwo Adegbodu, the inseparable counterpart of the iconic Adegbodu Twins.
The sorrowful announcement came through social media when Kehinde Adegbodu, his lifelong musical collaborator, shared the painful update.
In an emotional tribute, Kehinde expressed his anguish over losing not just his twin but also his spiritual and artistic companion.
His poignant words read: “TAIWO, how could you depart without warning, leaving me and your children behind?
My soul aches—Father, how do I navigate this world without him?
Almighty, why? This pain is unbearable!!!”
The Adegbodu Twins captivated audiences nationwide with their electrifying worship sets, synchronized stage presence, and powerful gospel deliveries that ignited faith in congregations throughout Nigeria.
Their ministry, especially influential in the South-West, cultivated a passionate fanbase drawn to their uplifting melodies and anointed performances.
