Renowned Nigerian comedian and digital creator, Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Mr Sanku Comedy, has tragically passed away.
The beloved entertainer reportedly lost his life in a fatal auto crash on the Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway near Ibadan during the early hours of Monday.
Social media platforms were flooded with shocking reports of the incident, including disturbing visuals of the wrecked vehicle in a roadside trench.
Sanku, who was traveling with an associate at the time of the crash, was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility.
Despite emergency interventions, both individuals were declared deceased shortly after their arrival.
The comic talent rose to prominence through his distinctive narrative approach and humorous delivery, having launched his creative career just three years prior in 2021.
Nollywood star Funmi Awelewa shared on Instagram that she had dispatched an assistant to monitor his condition at Bowen Hospital, where initial reports suggested he was showing positive signs of recovery.
