Renowned Nollywood star Zack Orji has dismissed claims that his wife neglected him during his hospitalization in Abuja, labeling the rumors as baseless and sensationalized.
The seasoned actor emphasized that false narratives thrive because audiences often gravitate toward dramatic, negative stories without verifying facts.
Contrary to the speculation, Orji revealed that his wife rushed to his side as soon as she learned of his deteriorating health, standing by him through two major brain surgeries.
Speaking candidly in an exclusive chat with Kaa Truths, he recounted how his wife remained a constant presence during his medical ordeal, never leaving the hospital while he fought for recovery.
Orji also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from loved ones and well-wishers, which alleviated the financial strain of his treatment.
He acknowledged that timely assistance played a crucial role in his swift recuperation, contrasting his experience with cases where patients suffer due to inadequate support.
Reflecting on the ordeal, he noted how fortunate he was to receive continuous aid, even at his most vulnerable moments.
He stated: “Some speculated that my wife and I had separated, claiming she stayed in Lagos while I struggled alone in Abuja. Sadly, negativity spreads fast here. But the truth is, she was alerted immediately and flew to Abuja without delay.
“She never left my side—through both brain surgeries and my entire hospital stay. It made me realize how many lives are lost simply due to lack of support. In my case, help arrived exactly when I needed it most.”
