Rema

Nigerian superstar Rema has etched his name deeper into music history as his groundbreaking album Rave & Roses smashes records on the Billboard World Albums Chart, maintaining its position for an unprecedented 170 weeks.

The critically acclaimed project dethroned Wizkid’s Made In Lagos (164 weeks) last year to become the longest-charting African album ever on the prestigious chart.

Other African giants making waves on the chart include Tems’ Born In The Wild (79 weeks), Burna Boy’s Love, Damini (63 weeks), and Fela Kuti’s timeless compilation The Best Of The Black President (45 weeks).

Rema continues his global dominance, securing his second Billboard Hot 100 entry this week with ‘Secondhand’ alongside Don Toliver, debuting at an impressive No. 29.

His compatriot Tems also made waves, entering the Hot 100 with ‘What You Need’, marking her seventh entry – tying with Burna Boy and South African rock legends Seether for the African record.
