The family and loved ones of the late gospel music icon, Bunmi Akinnaanu, have unveiled the detailed plan for her final farewell ceremonies.

After a courageous struggle with a severe leg condition, the beloved singer passed away on January 12, leaving fans and fellow gospel musicians heartbroken. Throughout her battle, she had openly sought prayers and divine intervention for her health.

Fellow gospel artist Alayo Melody shared the burial itinerary on Instagram, accompanied by an official event poster. The proceedings will commence on Tuesday, January 20, with a heartfelt service of songs at LTV 8 Ground in Ikeja, Lagos. A serene candlelight procession is set for 7 PM, followed by a tribute night at 8 PM featuring fellow musicians honoring her legacy.

The private interment service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, exclusively for her immediate family and closest friends.

Having discovered her musical calling at just 10 years old, Akinnaanu abandoned a thriving banking career to dedicate her life to gospel music. Her timeless hit, Omije Ojumi, became a spiritual anthem, touching countless lives in congregations nationwide.
