The grieving family of Aladi Offikwu Johnson, the 24-year-old Benue native who met a cruel fate at an Abuja hotel, has now revealed her burial arrangements.
Her untimely demise occurred on June 15 when an unidentified individual took her life at a Gwarinpa hotel along 3rd Avenue.
Speaking on Sunday, family representative Mike Abu disclosed that a wake will be held in her honor at the family residence in Masaka, Nasarawa State’s Karu LGA.
He further announced that her remains will be transported from Abuja on June 23 to Olaidu in Benue State’s Okpokwu LGA, where she will be interred the same day at her ancestral home.
Reports indicate Aladi had visited the hotel with a male companion who reportedly left without her.
Hotel employees found her unresponsive during standard room checks, alerting authorities immediately. Medical personnel later pronounced her deceased.
As of now, the FCT Police Command continues to investigate the case without having apprehended her murderer.
