Nigerian celebrity barman and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, recently shared a heartfelt confession about one of his life’s biggest regrets.

Opening up in an emotional Instagram post, he expressed deep remorse for not fulfilling his late mother’s dream of seeing him become a Catholic priest.

He reflected on how her passing profoundly impacted his life’s trajectory and strengthened his faith.

Detailing his childhood, he wrote: “My mother prayed fervently for years to conceive, and when she finally had me after many complications, she dedicated me to God, naming me Chibuike—’God is my strength.’ Her greatest wish was for me to join the priesthood, a promise she made during her struggles. I tried but never made it past seminary admission.”

“Although I couldn’t become ‘Father Chibuike,’ her prayers still shaped my destiny. Losing her nearly a decade ago transformed my life unexpectedly. I carry the guilt of not becoming the priest she envisioned, but despite my path as ‘ChiefPriest,’ I know God’s work continues through me.”

“To honor her memory, I’ve created a special Catholic worship song as an offering of gratitude. From family to fame, wealth to influence, God’s blessings overflow in my life. This melody is my testimony. With 1,000 comments, I’ll share this soulful track, featuring @zoroswagbag and produced by @masterkraft_ #MusicNaWater.”
