Nollywood star Regina Daniels has declared that no one would ever dare to lay a hand on her again after her brother’s recent release from custody.

Her older sibling, Sammy, was freed yesterday following his earlier detention, sparking widespread relief among fans and family.

Sammy secured a ₦5 million bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, and was released shortly after meeting all necessary conditions.

Celebrating his freedom, Regina shared heartfelt posts and a video call with Sammy on her Instagram story, emphasizing her renewed sense of security. She wrote: “The love I’ve felt is overwhelming—I’m truly grateful. My brother, you’re my rock. Now, no one will get away with hurting me again. The support I received means everything.”

She humorously added: “Ned thought folks would turn against me. Honestly? I’m filled with joy right now.”

Sammy’s release followed an intense online campaign under #FreeSammy, as many questioned the circumstances of his arrest and detention.

Reports indicate Sammy was detained after confronting Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina’s estranged husband, on social media amid their marital crisis. Ned allegedly pressed charges, leading to Sammy’s court appearance in Abuja.

Earlier, Ned faced accusations of domestic violence, which he denied while countering with claims of substance abuse against Regina.
