Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko has finally broken his silence regarding the recent detention of Izugbe Ann, the close confidante of his ex-wife, actress Regina Daniels.
Ann was reportedly apprehended by law enforcement officials in Abuja, where she remains in custody. The arrest sparked outrage from Regina, who publicly accused Nwoko of orchestrating the detention.
Taking to social media, the Delta North lawmaker detailed the allegations against Ann, including her alleged role in spreading false claims about him physically assaulting his fifth wife, Laila, while pregnant – assertions Nwoko categorically denies.
The senator further accused Ann of facilitating an unauthorized termination of Regina’s pregnancy during their marriage. He alleges she provided Regina with herbal substances that induced a miscarriage.
Additional accusations include claims Ann procured and administered prohibited substances to Regina throughout their relationship.
