Ned Nwoko

Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly addressed the legitimacy of medical documents alleging substance abuse by his wife, Nollywood star Regina Daniels, amid ongoing controversy over their authenticity.

In a statement shared on his Instagram account on Saturday, the Senator’s Communication Team reaffirmed the validity of the reports after Serenity Royale Hospital earlier distanced itself from the leaked documents. The hospital had denied issuing any medical diagnosis regarding Daniels’ alleged substance dependency.

The disputed document, reportedly signed by the hospital’s Managing Director, Dr. Adekunle Adesina, claimed that Daniels underwent a detoxification program beginning September 24, 2025, due to severe substance abuse.

Nwoko’s response clarified the hospital’s position, stating:

“The medical reports circulating about Regina Nwoko are authentic. While the rehabilitation center did not publicly release the records—a standard practice to maintain patient confidentiality—they never disputed the contents.”

The Senator’s team urged the public to review the full reports, which allegedly highlight alarming substance levels, including:

“Marijuana, cocaine, morphine, and opiates at severely elevated concentrations, alongside critically dangerous alcohol levels.”

A separate medical evaluation from Nizamiya Hospital, dated October 3, was also referenced, detailing an emergency admission after Daniels reportedly overdosed.

“She was found unconscious due to excessive drug intake—a documented and recurring crisis,”
the statement emphasized.

The post further accused Daniels’ relatives of obstructing her rehabilitation, alleging:

“Family members actively enabled her drug use, dismissing professional advice. Their interference compromised her treatment progress.”

Nwoko expressed concerns over Daniels’ decision-making, attributing her erratic behavior to substance influence:

“Her recent actions lack coherence and stability. She prioritizes public opinion over expert guidance, leaving her susceptible to exploitation.”

The statement stressed the urgency for intervention, asserting:

“This is beyond private resolution. With her health at extreme risk, silence is no longer an option.”

Concluding with a plea for support, Nwoko affirmed:

“These documents are real. Regina requires immediate, sustained care—not denial. As a mother, she deserves the opportunity to reclaim her well-being for her children.”

Daniels had earlier refuted Nwoko’s claims, admitting past drug use but denying it as the core issue in their marriage. She accused him of manipulation and alleged he had previously condoned her habits for personal gratification while isolating her from her support system.
