During a candid conversation on the Off The Record podcast, the son of billionaire Terry Waya shared his perspective.
Kiddwaya observed that while initially grateful, some partners begin demanding luxuries once accustomed to his affluent lifestyle.
He remarked: “They start off appreciative—everything feels fresh and thrilling. But gradually, comparisons creep in. Suddenly, they expect designer handbags and exotic vacations as necessities rather than gifts. That shift from gratitude to expectation, sometimes even disrespect, is why I hesitate to date outside my financial bracket.”
