Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has declared her readiness to partner with any political movement dedicated to shaping a brighter future for Nigeria.
The actress made this bold statement after facing criticism over her recent promotional campaign for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
Amonpoint News confirms that FAAN’s viral X post featured Iyabo enthusiastically applauding noticeable upgrades at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
Sharing the clip, she captioned: “Positive transformation at FAAN makes me proud to be Nigerian.”
This video is not an indictment on APc or FAAN, it’s a shame on Iyabo Ojo to come begging for gigs from a government she worked against a few years ago.

The unexpected endorsement triggered online debates, with critics recalling Iyabo’s vocal opposition to the current administration during the 2023 elections.
FAAN’s Managing Director Olubunmi Kuku swiftly clarified that no contractual agreement or ambassadorial role exists between the agency and the actress.
Addressing the controversy, Iyabo emphasized her patriotic motives: “I’ll always use my platform to celebrate Nigeria’s progress. This was purely voluntary—no payments, no political strings.”
Her Instagram statement read: “As a proud Nigerian, I’ll support any genuine effort to develop our nation. When I witness improvements like airport upgrades, I’ll amplify them. FAAN simply requested help showcasing their advancements—I obliged freely because nation-building requires collective action, not division.”
The announcement follows recent appointments of entertainment personalities by Seyi Tinubu to bolster support groups for his father’s potential reelection campaign.
Notably, Iyabo’s FAAN endorsement comes months after her private discussions with the president’s son in Lagos.
