During a heartfelt conversation on the Tea With Tay podcast, the star disclosed her ongoing fight against a life-threatening illness.
Morey revealed she received a shocking cancer diagnosis nearly half a decade ago while living in peaceful isolation on a ranch with her young son.
“The diagnosis completely shattered me,” she confessed, “All I could think about was my son’s future and what memories I’d leave behind.”
This pivotal moment became a profound wake-up call, transforming her perspective on life and motivating her to pursue her dreams with renewed passion.
She shared: “We were living this quiet ranch life – that’s why I call myself a country girl at heart. But everything changed when my doctor said those terrifying words: ‘You have cancer.’ Most people never knew. I just stared at him, already imagining what stories people would tell my son about me after I’m gone.”
