Portable Sparks Feud as Charles Okocha Denies Boxing Match Allegations

Popular Nollywood star Charles Okocha has refuted controversial claims made by singer Portable, who accused him of biting during their high-profile celebrity boxing match in Lagos.

The heated bout, which captured public attention, took an unexpected turn when Portable abruptly quit the fight, accusing Okocha of sinking his teeth into his back—an allegation the actor has strongly denied.

In a viral video response, Okocha dismissed Portable’s accusations as ridiculous, emphasizing that he wore a protective mouthguard throughout the match, making biting physically impossible.

The actor humorously added that even if he wanted to, he’d rather “graze on grass” than take a bite out of Portable, citing both hygiene concerns and Portable’s questionable complexion in jest.

Okocha mocked Portable for spreading what he called “fabricated stories,” wondering how he managed to bite him through a mouthguard while facing him frontally. He sarcastically questioned why Portable didn’t “accuse the referee instead.”

The playful yet sharp exchange has fueled further online buzz around the match, which ultimately ended with Okocha’s decisive victory, adding another chapter to their ongoing banter.
