Portable

Nigerian artist Portable has sparked fresh controversy after rejecting a ₦50 million boxing match proposal against popular content creator Carter Efe, demanding a significantly higher prize.

The offer was initially made by music executive Soso Soberekon during a live session with Carter Efe, who eagerly accepted the challenge and pushed for immediate arrangements.

In a fiery video response, Portable dismissed the ₦50 million offer as insufficient, insisting on an additional luxury vehicle valued at ₦300 million—bringing the total prize to ₦350 million—before considering participation.

The singer confidently claimed he would dominate Carter Efe in the ring, citing his past victories over fellow celebrities Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.

“Fifty million is peanuts. Add a ₦300 million car to make it ₦350 million, then I’ll teach Carter Efe a brutal lesson.

I’ve already crushed Okocha and Speed—this won’t be different,” Portable declared.

As of now, Soso Soberekon has not publicly addressed Portable’s escalated demands.
