Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has publicly rebuked his fourth babymama and Nollywood actress, Ashabi Simple, over alleged disrespect toward his wife, Bewaji.
In a fiery social media outburst, the singer issued a sharp warning, forbidding Ashabi from undermining his spouse. He highlighted Bewaji’s unwavering loyalty during his struggles and made it clear she holds a revered position in his life.
“Never disrespect my wife, Bewaji. She stays in her lane and supported me when I had nothing. Unlike you, she’s content with whatever I provide—you don’t even appreciate me. Are you insane? Do you wish for misfortune?” Portable raged.
He continued, “I’m married. If you want a ring, fight for it. Without my name, who are you? Show some sense and respect Bewaji. Her approval is the only reason you’re still here—you wouldn’t be part of my life without her blessing. You got pregnant, I stepped up. What more do you want? Stay in your place.”
