Reality TV sensation Pere Egbi has weighed in on the viral discussion about Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo’s new tattoo, defending the clergyman’s personal choice.
The former BBNaija housemate argued that body art doesn’t diminish a pastor’s spiritual authority, pointing out the diversity in personal expression among religious leaders.
Highlighting the contradictions in public perception, Pere mentioned that pastors often style their hair in braids, dreadlocks, or even perm their hair without backlash—so why single out tattoos?
He went further to challenge conventional judgments, suggesting that many deemed “unworthy” by society might ultimately find redemption beyond expectations.
