Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand has criticized clubs offering just £50 million for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

He argued that the fee is far too low for a player of Osimhen’s quality.

Ferdinand shared his thoughts during a TalkSPORT interview.

The ex-England defender has repeatedly emphasized Manchester United’s need to sign a proven goalscorer.

Reports suggest Osimhen may finalize a permanent transfer to Galatasaray after reaching terms with the Turkish club.

“I’ve been consistent on this—Osimhen has been my top choice for quite some time,” Ferdinand stated.

“Today I saw Galatasaray’s £50m bid.

“In today’s market, £50m for an elite striker—one of the best globally—is an absolute bargain.”
