Paris FC’s sporting director, Francois Ferracci, has expressed his delight over the acquisition of Nigerian winger Moses Simon.
The Ligue 1 club officially confirmed the signing of the Super Eagles star on Wednesday.
Simon, who joins Paris FC from Nantes, has committed to a three-year deal with the club.
Ferracci commended the player for rejecting offers from other high-profile clubs in favor of Paris FC.
“We are thrilled to have Moses on board. He was a top target for us, and his enthusiasm for our project stood out despite multiple offers. His presence will significantly enhance our effectiveness across various aspects,” Ferracci stated on the club’s official website.
Simon becomes the first Nigerian player to join Paris FC in their history.
The 29-year-old enjoyed a six-year spell at Nantes, netting 37 goals and providing 42 assists in 201 appearances.
