Ozonna Soludo, the son of Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, has firmly declared that he will not alter his lifestyle to appease critics.
His statement comes after backlash over his involvement in the trending ‘What’s in your bag’ social media challenge.
Though some applauded his transparency in revealing the items he carries daily, others scrutinized his upbringing and personal choices based on the contents of his bag.
Speaking with content creator Goodybagg, Ozonna addressed the controversy, emphasizing that his self-assurance and public presence naturally invite criticism—but he remains unbothered.
He made it clear that he refuses to apologize for being himself or conform to others’ expectations.
“Visibility and confidence always come with detractors,” he said. “I won’t apologize for who I am just to fit someone else’s mold. Staying true to myself is non-negotiable.”
“I don’t live for universal approval—I know who I am, and I embrace it. If someone dislikes me, that’s their concern. With billions of unique individuals in the world, conformity is pointless.”
