Osogbo Mega Free Concert by Adeleke Boosts Youth Involvement and 2026 Campaign Support

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has unveiled plans for a high-energy “Get Out to Vote” concert in Osogbo, headlined by top Nigerian performers, including his son B-Red, Peruzzi, CDQ, Shina Peters, and other notable acts.

Governor Adeleke has launched a free musical event designed to energize voters ahead of Osun’s 2026 gubernatorial race, featuring his son, Adebayo Adeleke (B-Red), alongside a lineup of both established and emerging talents from across Nigeria.

This initiative follows his recent appointment of nephew Davido as Head of Youth Mobilization for his reelection bid, targeting youth engagement ahead of the upcoming election.

Taking to X on Wednesday, Adeleke enthusiastically shared, “Osun, this concert is for YOU! Thrilled to have my son @B_RedHKN, along with industry heavyweights and Osun’s rising stars, delivering unforgettable vibes!”

According to promotional materials, the concert will showcase performances by Peruzzi, CDQ, Shina Peters, May D, Fido, Sinarambo, Peller, Kolu Wahala, and more, promising a night of electrifying entertainment.

“No party affiliations—just pure Osun unity! This event celebrates every citizen, irrespective of political leanings,” Adeleke emphasized, reinforcing the inclusive spirit of the gathering.

Scheduled for Friday, April 24, at Osogbo’s Technical Field, the governor invites residents to enjoy the free event under the rallying cry: “Show up, dance, and make your vote matter!”

The announcement arrives as Osun’s political landscape intensifies, with campaigning gaining momentum nearly two years before the August 2026 gubernatorial contest.
