Saudi club Al-Hilal has submitted a fresh proposal that would position Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as Africa’s top-earning footballer.

Goal reports the Saudi Pro League giants have offered a deal valued at €50 million annually, excluding bonuses, to lure the Nigerian striker.

Previously, Al-Hilal triggered Osimhen’s €75 million release clause with a €30 million-per-year offer, which the 26-year-old declined.

Despite aiming to finalize the transfer ahead of the Club World Cup, negotiations stalled.

Sources indicate Al-Hilal remains determined to secure the Super Eagles star at any cost.

Currently, Al-Ahli’s Riyad Mahrez holds the title of Africa’s highest-paid player.

The Algerian winger earns €1,003,846 weekly after joining from Manchester City.
