Isreal DMW has shared his unwavering support for Davido after the Afrobeat star missed out on a Grammy win at the 2026 awards ceremony held in Los Angeles.
Despite high hopes, Davido lost the Best African Music Performance category to South Africa’s rising star Tyla, whose hit Push to Start secured the coveted trophy. Other nominees included Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Wizkid, and Eddy Kenzo.
While many fans voiced their frustration online, Isreal DMW took a different approach—celebrating his boss’s legacy beyond awards. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he emphasized Davido’s unmatched influence in the music industry.
His caption read: “Award or no award, Oga remains the King! The hits keep coming, and trust me, the world ain’t ready for what’s next.”
“The music never stops—just wait for it!”
