This marks his second consecutive nomination, following his debut on the shortlist in 2024.

Last year’s winner, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Ronwen Williams, remains a strong contender, setting the stage for an exciting showdown.
Meanwhile, Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi has also earned a nomination for the Men’s Player of the Year after standout performances in the 2025 AFCON and FIFA World Cup.
