Nollywood star Regina Daniels has clapped back at Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) President Emeka Rollas after he insinuated she requires assistance, sparking a fiery exchange.
According to Amonpoint News, Rollas claimed in an Instagram statement that industry insiders are aware of Regina’s alleged struggles but gossip behind her back. He cited an on-set incident involving veterans like Okey Bakassi and Jide Kosoko as proof of her erratic behavior.
The AGN chief further criticized Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, for eyeing the guild’s presidency while her daughter’s well-being remains questionable. He also denied rumors that Regina’s husband, Ned Nwoko, bankrolls the AGN and condemned Nwoko for airing private matters publicly.
Firing back, Regina accused Rollas of resentment after she barred him from hosting swimming lessons for women at her residence. She slammed his leadership, alleging he prioritizes escorting women to wealthy men’s homes over guild reforms.
In a scathing Instagram post, she wrote: “Mr. AGN President, your baseless claims reveal your incompetence. Eight years without enforcing actor protections? Your sole ‘achievement’ is opening an office after public pressure—funded partly by my family. Your bitterness stems from me stopping your shady swimming sessions at my home.”
Regina further defended her mother’s AGN presidential bid, praising Rita’s industry contributions and dismissing Rollas as a failed leader who betrayed their family’s support.
