
Nollywood star Muyiwa Ademola has opened up about his inability to attend the Lagos burial of his late cousin, Allwell Ademola, revealing he was abroad when she was laid to rest.
The renowned actor expressed his grief in an emotional Instagram post, sharing an image of her gravesite along with heartfelt words.
He penned: “Farewell, dear Cousin. My heart aches knowing I wasn’t there to bid you a final farewell.
“Your passing is a stark reminder of life’s unpredictability—each day is a gift, every moment precious.
“May we live long enough to cherish the time we have, amen.
“Rest well, Omo Oba EniObanke Ademola. Greet our father, Awofe Ademola, and Uncle Adetokunbo… until we meet again!”
Allwell, aged 49, tragically passed away following a heart attack at her Lagos residence on December 27, 2025.
Her funeral events commenced on January 8, 2026, with a touching Service of Songs and candlelight tribute hosted at Lagos State Television (LTV 8) in Ikeja.
Loved ones, industry peers, and admirers gathered to celebrate her legacy and share their sorrow.
She was laid to rest the following day at Atan Cemetery in Yaba.
