Taking to Instagram with fiery humor, the actor threatened to unleash his inner “masquerade” with a koboko whip if the unsolicited car scrubbing persists.
Awobona suggested street vendors focus on selling snacks or politely asking for alms rather than forcing services on motorists, calling the practice both irritating and disrespectful.
His viral post read: “This madness ends now. Lagos and Ibadan drivers, keep your phones recording—I’m transforming into an ancestral spirit with a pankere in hand.
“Enough of these soapy surprises! Since when did my car become community property?
“Stick to selling groundnuts or simply ask for help. If you catch me disciplining someone on Third Mainland Bridge, remember this warning.”
