This revelation follows Kayode Salako’s acknowledgement of his union with another woman, Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako, while still legally wedded to the actress.

 Foluke Daramola

Nollywood icon Foluke Daramola has openly admitted that her marriage doesn’t make her feel traditionally bound.

During a candid conversation on the African A-List podcast, the actress shared intimate details about her relationship with husband Kayode Salako.

Daramola affectionately referred to Salako as her “embodiment of tranquility.”

Expressing the unconventional nature of their bond, she revealed, “Marriage doesn’t feel restrictive to me. My husband personifies peace in my life.

“If I told Kayode today that I’m leaving for Canada tonight and might stay a year, he’d simply wish me well. His love isn’t measured by control – he believes in my freedom.

“That’s why marriage feels different for us. He’s my closest confidant and biggest supporter. Our arguments might seem explosive, but we always reconcile within hours,” she continued.

This disclosure arrives years after Salako publicly acknowledged his polygamous union, having married Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako while remaining wed to the actress.

Justifying his decision, Salako cited their 13-year childless marriage with Daramola as a contributing factor.

The couple originally tied the knot in 2010.
