Nollywood star Doris Ogala has fired back after Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry suggested her allegations against him contained falsehoods during his recent public apology.
Amonpoint News previously covered the clergyman’s Sunday address where he apologized but questioned some statements made by the actress regarding their failed relationship.
The conflict escalated when Ogala’s legal team delivered a December 16, 2025 petition demanding N1 billion compensation for what she alleges was a broken marriage promise.
Matters worsened this week when Okafor’s children entered the fray with additional claims against the entertainer.
The minister told his congregation: “For Doris Ogala and others I’ve wronged, I offer sincere apologies. While some accusations contain inaccuracies, I regret all pain caused. I’m prepared to make amends where necessary.”
The actress responded sharply on social media, stating: “Chris Okafor, while I accept your apology, I take exception to your suggestion of false statements. I stand by my words – I don’t deal in lies.”
