Nollywood star Destiny Etiko has openly condemned an unnamed industry peer for actions she claims were malicious and tarnished her image.
Taking to Instagram, she expressed her struggle to move past the deceit, despite extending forgiveness, as the ordeal inflicted deep wounds on her and her loved ones.
Etiko shared that her mother has been overwhelmed by distress, fielding numerous calls regarding the fabricated accusations.
Her post read: “You begged for forgiveness, and I granted it—yet forgetting is impossible. This betrayal is an abomination, staining my name over unthinkable falsehoods 💔 You spun lies simply because others praised my devotion to my mother 💔 🥲
“I recall no wrong against you. Forgiveness is mine to give, but forgetting? Never. My pain runs deeper as my mother bears the weight of your cruelty 😭
Her heart breaks, disillusioned that a fellow Christian could commit such treachery ☹️. Tell the world—why betray a sister? 💔”
While Etiko refrained from naming names, fans speculate the conflict involves fellow actress Ekene Umenwa, given the post’s timing and cryptic details.
