Nollywood Director Stanley Ontop Responds to Frederick Leonard’s Defamation Lawsuit

Renowned Nollywood filmmaker Stanley Ontop has responded to the legal petition filed by actor Frederick Leonard, dismissing allegations of defamation.

As previously reported by Amonpoint News, Leonard escalated the dispute by lodging a formal complaint with the Delta State Police Command, accusing Ontop of repeated character attacks.

In his rebuttal, Ontop clarified that he has not yet received any official summons from law enforcement.

Issuing a counter-threat, the filmmaker vowed to challenge Leonard legally, declaring their feud would be settled in court.

He posted defiantly on Instagram: “Court awaits us. Still no police invitation here. Ontop stands strong.”
