No one backs a terrible government without appearing foolish

Nollywood actor Prince Eke has launched a scathing rebuke of the APC and its defenders in a new social media outburst.

Via a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, March 5th, the actor condemned APC loyalists who have targeted his direct messages with vitriol for his critiques of the current administration.

Eke asserted that sympathizers of the ruling party are intellectually deficient and a national embarrassment for upholding failures. He maintained that the APC’s governance has systematically ruined the nation and plunged countless citizens into despair.

In a supplementary video, he declared,“No one who supports a corrupt government avoids looking foolish. Imagine a system where officials brazenly harass women without consequence. It’s a total disgrace!”

His caption expanded on this sentiment:“Our country’s decay has forced a massive exodus—talented individuals flee abroad, abandoning roots and kin, all in pursuit of safety and a normal life. Yet a privileged few act as if the nation is their personal estate.

Even worse are the opportunists who accept crumbs to shield a system that enslaves the masses.

We must acknowledge: the chance to build a life overseas is a luxury most cannot afford. Millions remain, suffering under decades of incompetent rule.

This cannot continue. Endless patience with empty pledges and misrule only deepens the crisis.

Now is the moment for citizens to take back Nigeria. Not for vengeance, but for accountability. Not for chaos, but for genuine transformation.

For our children’s future, this nation must be restored to its rightful owners—the people.”
