Victor Osimhen

Turkish football expert Devrim Zengi claims that Galatasaray’s proposed salary deal for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen surpasses any offer from European clubs.

The Nigerian star has emerged as a top transfer target following his stellar performances with the Turkish club this season.

Speaking to Habersarikirmizi, Zengi revealed that several European teams are hesitant to chase Osimhen due to his expected participation in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations later this year.

“The Africa Cup of Nations will run for approximately one month, with Osimhen likely to feature,” Zengi stated.

“This could see him miss 4–5 games, making some clubs wary of signing players who’ll be unavailable for that period.”

Zengi remains optimistic about Osimhen staying at Galatasaray, suggesting a final decision will be made shortly.

“European clubs simply can’t compete with Galatasaray’s financial offer,” he continued.

“A transfer to Saudi Arabia has been ruled out, and his family also opposes such a move.”

Osimhen’s future remains a hot topic in the transfer market, with Premier League side Liverpool among clubs reportedly interested in securing the prolific forward.
