Nissi, sister of Afrobeat superstar Burna Boy, has confidently declared her vocal superiority over her Grammy-winning sibling during a recent radio interview.
According to the budding singer-songwriter, even Burna acknowledges that her vocal range surpasses his own. However, she graciously conceded that her brother outshines her when it comes to rap artistry.
The talented multihyphenate entered the Nigerian music scene in 2016 with her debut single and has since collaborated with industry heavyweights like Olamide and Fireboy DML.
Her creative prowess extends beyond music—Nissi boasts an impressive background in automotive design, contributing to Jaguar Land Rover’s 2023 Range Rover project.
The versatile artist also gained international recognition for designing a limited-edition Havana Club bottle featuring her brother’s branding, which earned the “Most Innovative Product” award at Paris Packaging Week 2023.
