The controversial scene was originally shared by a fan who gushed about their electrifying chemistry, captioning it, “When it comes to on-screen passion, no one in Nollywood does it quite like these two.”
But instead of admiration, the clip triggered outrage, with critics questioning how a married actor could repeatedly engage in such explicit performances. Many argued that no spouse should have to endure watching their partner share passionate kisses with co-stars—regardless of professional obligations.
One particularly vocal critic tweeted, “At this point, it’s not just acting—it’s a deliberate choice. A married man has no business locking lips on screen every other week.”
Others took a more dramatic stance, insisting that any self-respecting spouse would demand an immediate career shift: “If my husband pulled this, I’d personally shut down every production he’s in. Period.”
