Nigerian comedy star and actor Oluwatope Bamidele Saint, widely recognized by his stage name Okemesi, has tragically passed away.
The beloved entertainer drew his last breath on the morning of Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at approximately 11:50 a.m.
Medical complications from administered drugs reportedly led to his sudden decline, culminating in a brief coma before his untimely demise.
Fellow actor Tony Montana Jeff broke the heartbreaking news via an emotional Instagram post, confirming that Okemesi’s remains had been transferred to the morgue.
“It is with immense sorrow that I announce Okemesi’s passing. Doctors confirmed his de@th at 11:50 a.m. today, February 24, 2026. We have lost a legend.
“On behalf of the Bamidele family, I share this painful news—Oluwatope Bamidele Saint Okemesi is no more. His body has been moved to the mortuary. Further details will be communicated soon. We thank everyone for their support. May God grant him eternal peace,” Jeff expressed.
