Nigerian music star Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, widely recognized as Skales, has slammed social media personality Okechukwu Pascal, also known as Chiefpriest, for his controversial remarks connecting the Jos massacre to an alleged political stunt against President Tinubu.

In a now-viral Instagram post, Chiefpriest extended sympathies to victims of the Jos attacks but controversially implied that the bloodshed was timed to coincide with Tinubu’s birthday celebration.

While calling for prayers for the departed, Chiefpriest also pressed security forces to intensify efforts against rising insecurity.

The socialite’s statement quickly ignited fierce backlash across social media platforms.

Skales, in a scathing response, accused Chiefpriest of detachment from reality, condemning his prioritization of political embarrassment over human lives lost in the tragedy.

The singer lambasted the remark as heartless and devoid of empathy, emphasizing the humanity of the victims.

He posted, “This is beyond tone-deaf… How can someone fixate on presidential embarrassment while families mourn their loved ones?

“I’m appalled you’d even craft such insensitive words… Where’s your humanity? You’re a parent, @cubana_chiefpriest – where’s your compassion?”
