Nigerian music star Orezi has penned a moving tribute for his late father.
Through an emotional Instagram post, the singer bared his grief in raw, unfiltered words.
Struggling to process his loss, Orezi described the agony of saying goodbye to the most important man in his life.
“The past few hours have shattered my entire world. The cruel hands of death have snatched away my protector, my biggest supporter, my guide, and the man I aspired to be.”
His words trembled with sorrow as he confronted the unbearable reality:
“I am broken, lost in sorrow, drowning in a pain unlike anything I’ve ever known.”
Orezi, born Esegine Allen, reached out desperately, as if hoping his cries could reverse fate.
“This can’t be real—it feels like a nightmare I can’t wake from.
Dad, please open your eyes!
My heart refuses to accept you’re gone. The tears won’t stop, the ache won’t fade.”
Closing his tribute, the grieving son asked for strength from loved ones and fans.
“To everyone who cares, please keep me and my family in your prayers—we need them now more than ever.”
