Renowned Nigerian artist Jesse Jagz Abaga has openly criticized the worsening economic struggles and escalating insecurity plaguing the nation.
The acclaimed musician, known for hits like ‘Bad Girl,’ expressed disbelief at the unchecked corruption and poor governance displayed by Nigeria’s political leaders.
He highlighted how their neglect of basic infrastructure, including healthcare, leads many politicians to suffer tragic fates abroad. “When given power to uplift lives, they plunder public funds and stash them overseas,” he stated.
On social media, he vented, “What kind of leadership prioritizes personal greed over national progress? No wonder they perish helplessly in foreign medical facilities—karma strikes hard.”
Jesse Jagz also accused current officeholders of being foreign proxies rather than public servants, alleging their loyalty lies with external powers that facilitated their rise.
Drawing historical parallels, he remarked, “Modern politicians mirror the traitors who enabled colonialism and slavery. I witnessed Obama’s administration prop up certain leaders—and Nigeria’s decline accelerated from that point.”
